The 10th Annual Tour de Midnight will be held in Rockville, Virginia (near Richmond) on October 18, 2025. This event will start and end at the Midnight Brewery and will have multiple ride distances to choose from. Live Music, food and family fun are planned for this event. There will be one satellite location for the 10th Annual Bike Ride in Vienna Virginia at the Caboose Brewing Co.
EFVA’s mission is to promote awareness about epilepsy and provide assistance to those with the disorder. On an annual basis, we help educate around 10,000 people with epilepsy and their families and friends who live with epilepsy.
How do I register for Tour de Midnight?
Registration can be completed through our event page on BikeReg or by clicking the button below.
When you register, make sure to pick a category [categories are divided by bike ride distance or volunteers] and select “Register without a Login” located under the event items.
How do I create a Pledge Team?
If you would like to create a Pledge Team, please email tourdemidnightva@gmail.com.
How do I create a Participation Team?
If you would like to create a Participation Team, simply create your team name when registering. Make sure to share your team name with others who register to ride in person, virtually, or are willing to assist with event day activities as a volunteer, they will be able to insert your team name in the registration administration data field on the BikeReg website.
How do I sponsor the Tour de Midnight?

Midnight Brewery is a family-owned and operated microbrewery located in Goochland County, VA. Owner Trae Cairns, a former IT professional, honed his brewing skills in the late hours after working his full-time job. Those late night date nights with barley, hops, and water instilled in him a brewing passion that eventually lead to the establishment of Midnight Brewery in 2011.

Located at mile marker 12 of the W&OD Trail, Caboose Brewing Company was first established in Vienna, VA in 2014 by the Greer and McLaughlin families. In 2018 Caboose expanded to its second location Caboose Commons in Merrifield, VA.

Team FAQs
About the TOUR DE MIDNIGHT “Team Participation”, “Top Medical Organization Team”, and/or “Pledge Team” Competition
We would like this to be a friendly competition amongst different companies, organizations, or teams that come out to support this event as we award a Stanley Cup-like trophy to the team with the most participants for their team.
The winning company, organization, or team will maintain the trophy for one year and bring it back to the next annual ride to be awarded to the following year’s winning team.
The Top Medical Organization Team (e.g., Bon Secour, VCU, HAC, UVA, Riverside, Sentara) will win a trophy to keep at their designated location.
If you or your family members cannot make it to one of the event locations you may sign up as a virtual rider or if you do not cycle but still wish to participate, you may sign up as a volunteer (we can always use extra volunteers to execute this event).
Registration to ride at the primary ride location, satellite locations, virtual ride, or volunteer is accomplished on the BikeReg website and will be counted as participants for the team. If you have volunteers on your team, the team will only get credit if the volunteer supports the event (either on event day or supports early registration packet pick up).
How do I share a Pledge Team with others to join?
Share your fundraising team name with others and have them go to epilepsyva.com, select the drop-down menu for Tour de Midnight, select the Pledge Team tab, and near the bottom of the page (right-hand side) select “Pledge To A Team.”
Can you join a team/add a team name after registering?
Yes! If someone on your team has already registered or forgot to add a team name during registration, they can go back on BikeReg and edit their registration to add a team name. If for some reason they are unable to edit their registration, please send an email to tourdemidnightva@gmail.com and the event director will edit the registration to add the team’s name.
What is the Pledge Team Competition?
We have a Tour de Midnight Pledge Team Competition as part of this great event that brings a friendly competition to raise much-needed funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia. The winning team will be awarded a trophy and each team that raises $1000.00 will receive an event Jersey for each $1000.00 raised. This trophy will be yours to keep- you will not be required to bring it back the following year!
Can you have a Participation Team and Pledge Team with the same name and compete for both awards?
YES, and it is highly encouraged! Teams are already planning on how to move to the top spot and win the Team Participation, Top Medical Organization, and or Pledge Team Title for the Annual Tour de Midnight bike ride.
